Terms of Service

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Welcome to Kintide. These terms are an agreement between you and Kintide (“we,” “us,” “our”) and govern your use of the Kintide application and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. Please read them.

What Kintide does

Kintide is a read-only calendar companion. It connects to your Google Calendar, reads your upcoming events, and gives you a simple daily summary of your family’s schedule. Kintide does not modify your calendar in any way.

Your account

  • You must sign in with a valid Google account to use Kintide.
  • You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
  • You must be old enough to enter into this agreement and to use a Google account in your jurisdiction.

Connecting your calendar

To provide your daily brief, Kintide requests read-only access to your Google Calendar. You can disconnect your calendar or revoke access at any time, through Kintide or through your Google account settings. Our handling of the information we access is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Please use Kintide as intended. You agree not to:

  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to break the Service or its security.
  • Use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.
  • Attempt to copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the Service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Beta status

Kintide is currently in an early access / beta stage. This means:

  • The Service is provided as-is and may change, break, or be unavailable at times.
  • Features may be added, changed, or removed.
  • Your daily brief is a convenience, not a guarantee. Do not rely on Kintide as your only source of schedule information. Always confirm important events against your actual calendar.

Pricing

Kintide is currently free to use during its beta period. If we introduce paid subscriptions in the future, we will make the pricing and terms clear before you are charged, and your continued use after that point will be subject to those terms.

Service availability

We work to keep Kintide running reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. The Service depends on third parties — including Google, Supabase, and Vercel — and may be affected by their availability.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that your brief will be complete or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kintide will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any missed event, scheduling error, or reliance on a brief, arising from your use of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using Kintide and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Kintide evolves. If we make a significant change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
